This blue rice is specifically made for aliens! Just kidding - but let me tell you, this one here is a masterpiece, the fluffy texture and color of this rice will leave you wanting for more! To Blue Spirulina and beyond!

  • 1 cup white basmati rice
  • 2 cup water
  • Optional: 1 tsp blue spirulina for that blue look


  • Rinse the 1 cup of rice in water to get rid of any excess starch.
  • Add rice into a pot. 1 cup of rice equals to 2 cups of water. Bring to boil.
  • Cook for 10 minutes on med/high, then on low for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off heat and let it sit for 5 extra minutes.
  • Remove from heat, serve it in a bowl, and scoop it around with a fork to fluff it up!
  • And don't forget to add that 1 tsp of Blue Spirulina (add it to the bowl and mix until rice turns blue). Enjoy!
