A magical blue bird told me to make this, I had nothing to do with it… you ever feel like there’s that creative metaphysical energy flowing through the air all around us?? I sure do… this drink gives my Halloween Town vibes. But seriously, the refreshing coolness of the drink trickling down my body with each sip – was on another level!

BE AN ARTIST
When it comes to thinking of the next recipe to post on my social media, I get shivers of excitement down my spine. I ask myself, “will it be a lunch special? dessert? or what about a snack? Should I make it colorful? Red? Blue? Yellow??”…. For me, the coolest and most fun part about cooking and making a meal, is that I can make it as colorful as I want! the more color the better! I feel like an artist about to embark on a new painting, with a freshly untouched canvas in front of me.
INGREDIENTS
- Ice cubes (small ones)
- Blue spirulina
- San Pellegrino
- Reed’s Reel Ginger Ale
- Frozen blueberries
- Mint
- Lemon
HOW YOU CAN MAKE THIS
- Grab yourself of cup, any cup!
- Before doing anything, I blended blue spirulina in some filtered water for about 10 seconds, to get rid of any blue clumps.
- Next, toss some ice cubes in the cup
- Fill 1/3 of the cup with the blue spirulina mixed in filtered water
- Fill another 1/3 of the cup with San Pellegrino
- The last 1/3 of the cup is filled with that Reed’s Ginger Ale
- For garnish, add some blue berries, mint leaf, and a slice of lemon on top. You can also add a squirt of lemon juice in the drink… because why not.
- And Voila! Enjoy!
